The best available information was that it did prevent infection with the first variants but this delta variant seems to be a whole new game. From a public messaging standpoint it sucks but you can only make decisions with the information you have.

Is a vaccine mandate the best move given the new info? Not sure, but I’d still get that shit again given its effectiveness at stoping serious disease.

I agree, until the point at which hospital beds are filling up and impacting the care of those who are vaccinated, or until the point at which the vaccine is able to mutate again and be more likely to impact the vaccinated.

Don't think we're remotely filling up hospital beds yet in the states where people are actually getting the shot (maybe I'm wrong), which is why mask mandates at the moment are B.S IMO.
