The non center half of the bargaining unit is going to roll its eyes at people complaining about center to center transfers not being easy. But at the very least there is no reason for swaps to be treated so harshly.

It’s no later than whatever date is there. So they could potentially go earlier anyway

You can but people have been forced there. When I was at the academy they forced like 3 people in 1 class. But a lot of the volunteer picks isn’t even where people want to go. It just is better than their official options. The whole system is broken. What we know for sure is some or most of these people would have taken Oakland from day 1 and currently would be CPCs at ZOA

I agree, good for that controller. Just doesn’t make sense to take a controller
from a worse staffed facility. They can, at a minimum, add ZSU to the MOU.

I am all for giving everyone a shot but MFD does NOTHING. I believe they are the slowest tower in the FAA.
