True.An earthquake could open a crack beneath 32andBelow's z and swallow it back to the eternal hell it belongs in and he'd be like "why am I not training?"

Let me wash bro.
If our biggest argument is the half a million you miss out on by not having this job sooner. You made it out better then the other 7 billion people in the world. They didn’t. But the training program has been riddled with delays so this current 1.5 year delay is too much for some people. So they don’t like being held out more when there’s already so many delays. Also everything is collaborated as they like to say. So they can hold all the Ws and Ls with the faa
idk. I just really like ATC so I wanna work and be done with trainingIf our biggest argument is the half a million you miss out on by not having this job sooner. You made it out better then the other 7 billion people in the world.
if the difference in salary is 60K, because of taxes youd only see 40K of that, with 19 years thats 144k. I also highly doubt ANYONE would invest the entire 40k.Just reran the numbers, 60k in one year, put into an account for 19 years with 7% compounding interest with nothing added or touched like TSP,
$225,987.66
Dont know about where you are from but a quarter of a million would buy a nice house.

you are dumb if you think thats chump change
I completely agree. I love my job and hated being home. Training sucks balls. I just think we’ve taken an opportunity that is either a blessing or pure luck and poisoned it with expectations rather than joy. When we stop enjoying the good things we have and start expecting them. It makes us pissed off all the time when things don’t go our way.idk. But also this forum is a place for people to come and talk and vent. It doesn’t really man that everyone here is sitting at home just festering in anger.I completely agree. Some of us are sitting in the break room festering in anger. But also this forum is a place for people to come and talk and vent. It doesn’t really man that everyone here is sitting at home just festering in anger.
But when we vent to people aren’t we wanting them to make us feel better about situations and get different perspectives. But also this forum is a place for people to come and talk and vent. It doesn’t really man that everyone here is sitting at home just festering in anger.

A lot of ppl here are trying to give their perspective and you are shitting on them. But when we vent to people aren’t we wanting them to make us feel better about situations and get different perspectives.
No, I’m just disagreeing with them and offering alternative perspectives. If you want to saturate yourself with people that only believe what you want then there’s forums that cater to that.Lucky. I’m at homeNot getting this holiday pay that NATCA stole from me! /s

$47K is what I make. After fed/state taxes and health insurance, my take home is about $1200 a period. Literally one entire check just goes to rent a month.I’d also like to add. Base AG pay is really low. AG pay with differentials is somewhat much better. 10 holidays and Sundays really adds up
When I lived on that for 18 months I drove for Uber and Lyft lol.$47K is what I make. After fed/state taxes and health insurance, my take home is about $1200 a period. Literally one entire check just goes to rent a month.
