What is the word on the street, I have heard very positive things especially in regards to work schedule. I know they have two sites (West/East).

They had an announcement out about a month ago.Are they hiring?
It's a very lengthy process, expect 6+ months, probably closer to 12+. It requires a TS background check and counterintelligence polygraph. Aeronautical analysts perform a variety of functions depending on where they are assigned. Anything from coding to charting to airfield analysis to flight procedures. Here is an old posting for a 1361 series, pay band 3 job: Aeronautical AnalystHow does the hiring work? Is it ATC or aviation related work?
I got one a while back, but never heard anything back after that.Well, got a request for an interview. Chugging along!
Nor really expecting much as I’m going through the process for a HQ job, but just keeping it out there.I got one a while back, but never heard anything back after that.
For those with ATC and/or TERPS backgrounds, apply to the band 3 postings and expect an offer in the 50+ percentile of the payband.
The process is lengthy and a PITA. You'll hear back from the HQ gig well before NGA. If the HQ job is a GS-12, expect NGA's offer to be above the step 10 pay for comparison purposes. No

1361 is the series you'd search on USAJobs. They don't employ 2152s AFAIK.Did NGA have a specific bid for 2152 recently or just trying on something else?
You lose your good time with this job?Anyone else get a CJO today?
