Absolutely but believe it or not places like 538 don’t benefit from being wrong. 538 got it closer than anyone last time and they still get tons of shit about it.

I know it’s not fun to admit your guy is behind but there’s no denying it. The only reason he has any chance at all to win is because of the electoral college. If we chose presidents by popular vote he’d literally have 0 chance of winning. But lucky for you there’s a very real path for him to win.

It was not just a "peace agreement" but a lifting of sanctions. The agreement was not worth the paper it was signed on as the Iranians (much like some other nations *glances at DPRK for example*) will never abide by it. The Islamic Republic of Iran since inception has called for the destruction of Israel and will settle for nothing less until there is a regime change. The expectation that the Iranians would have adhered to any sort of agreement is akin to Chamberlain's "Peace for Our Time." Just as the DPRK cheated reactor inspections in the 90's so would the Iranians. When Obama had lifted the sanctions Iran had MASSIVE plans to upgrade their civilian aviation fleets/hardware/ you name it. Boeing and Airbus were going neck in neck to sell the Iranians airframes/engines/maintenance agreements, it was crazy.

Now we can sit here and say "Well having some inspections are better than none" are rendered moot by a single organisation. Mossad. Mossad will NOT allow Iran to have nuclear weapons will do everything in their power to stop it from becoming a reality. Our own nation fortunately backs this notion while allowing us a degree of plausible deniability, but nothing is ever perfect and Murphy's law is an inevitability. As for the upgrades to their civilian fleets, everything they intended to purchase with their "released" funds would have served a dual purpose, military. F4's/F-14's/ MLS systems/ everything we sold the Shah has been kept in service because it trumps Russian/Chinese technology. Now, yes most of their air frames are long past their service life, engines, and the F-14 is something you can no longer obtain parts for but the Iranians have become probably the 4th best nation in reverse engineering technology so to say there would be no useful military application to anything is naive at best.

TLDR: Sanctions should never have been lifted, even temporarily, and the "peace agreement" was and never will be one.

I can’t imagine anyone actually applying to be a police officer right now. The media doesn’t support you, only shows the negative stories about your work. Your city officials apparently want you shot. Higher ups won’t back you in the case anything happens while on duty, and just throw you under the bus. I would refuse to work any protest anywhere. Not worth your career over some fucktard causing problems just to get you on camera protecting yourself, saying it’s police abuse.
