By "skipped repeatedly" I just meant "not picked repeatedly." I thought that was obvious but I guess not. My mistake.Even when it was 2 per student it was impossible for places to get skipped.

The top 1/3 became Mando so it was impossible to skip a place foreverBy "skipped repeatedly" I just meant "not picked repeatedly." I thought that was obvious but I guess not. My mistake.
people here think any facility in California is awful even though most of them have never been there.Out of curiosity, whats wrong with Burbank? I live about 30 minutes from the airport?
I was about to make a Kobe joke, but I’ll refrain from that.Out of curiosity, whats wrong with Burbank? I live about 30 minutes from the airport?
Lol thanks for the input. Congrats to all of the new hires!people here think any facility in California is awful even though most of them have never been there.
Good if your from the area. Starting out there on AG would be rough with no friends or family to helpOut of curiosity, whats wrong with Burbank? I live about 30 minutes from the airport?

This is untrue the placement list shuffles every Wednesday. When it was 2 per student there were a few mandatory at the top but if a facility never made top 3-5ish they’d never be mandatory and could be skipped indefinitely.Even when it was 2 per student it was impossible for places to get skipped.
They didn’t like re shuffle it in the students favor. My class had 3 Oakland’s sitting at the top waiting for us.This is untrue the placement list shuffles every Wednesday. He didn't say it was a nice shuffle, more creepy Scoutmaster Kyle shuffle than anything. They didn’t like re shuffle it in the students favor. My class had 3 Oakland’s sitting at the top waiting for us.
ROC does get CIP pay. Looks like staffing is low there though so people could be stuck there for awhile.ROC is the jewel of the NAS, so go there.
I've heard bad things about the work environment there outside of staffing level. Shame, Rochester is a hella nice place to be permanently if you aren't worried about chasing pay.ROC does get CIP pay. Looks like staffing is low there though so people could be stuck there for awhile.

You get the list roughly 1 week before PA's. The bottom location falls off for each person that doesn't pass. The day after PA's you go in a room as a class and make your selection based on score. Our class met up the night before and talked it over so we all knew what to expect.I know the FAQ says the facility selection is done in grade order, but could someone explain the specifics? How early is the list given out? How does the selection take place? Is it literally a list passed to the highest grade person who scratches their choice off?
It varies. When the academy is busier we got our list line 2 days before. What you want to do is like take anywhere you can possibly go and start ranking them like a depth chart. You get the list roughly 1 week before PA's.
