February (Q2) 2022

God bless the NCEPT Gods for blessing me on this sacramental day, amen.

ALO to D21, somehow ?

Things I noticed:
- Facilities picked up more than the selection cap?
- Facilities picked up even if they were more than 30% trainee ratio?
1: There was no cap on round 2 due to some of the garbage staffing, i.e. ICT and RDU
2: I noticed that too, Duluth for example.

Sounds like a grievance if you can prove you weren’t considered this round. #LAN-DEN ?
It sounds like a total lack of personal accountability. The hr staff is inundated in a 2-5 day period because everyone is submitting errs up to the final hours. Not having your paperwork in sounds like a personal problem and sitting on read without calling someone sounds like you’re making your own dynamic decisions. I know the ASO region made me resubmit because I faxed more than 1 packet at the same time. I think they all want them individually sent wether it’s fax or email.

Fuck this job. Honestly.
Leave then. Honestly.

It not greatest job in the world but if it’s that bad, I’m sure we have all done it at some point and just quit. Just leave and find something that works better for you

You all can’t figure out how to sort an excel spread sheet, but think you know better than everyone else. Misery loves company I guess.

Did it say on the Temp rules that the selection cap is only for Round 1? It said for a Panel, not a round. Didn’t know it was for a Round because it never said that

As for the the 30% trainee ratio thing, why would it matter what Round it was. Selections being made are in the same panel.

That had a domino effect on others. Imagine being at ORL thinking you had a chance for MCO but because someone from there was the 4th pick for RDU (based on selection order online), you had no more releases for when MCO got to pick. Granted, maybe the guy picked up for MCO was ranked #1 on the ATM ranking list the entire time, but what about if someone from ORL was ranked ahead of him?

I know 2 brave young controllers who are resigning to pursue DOD jobs, so as not to not accept the chains of their NCEPT captivity and waste away the prime of their lives wallowing in anger, bitterness, and self-pity in some god forsaken shithole like ROC…
ROC to A90 this round, less then 7 years stuck there. I’d say that was winning, better then resigning?

ELM to ZAB! scam

Not that much busier than ELM.

NCEPT is really called The Cuckening by all who know better and refuse to buy the proper kneepads and fellate the proper people. I know 2 brave young controllers who are resigning to pursue DOD jobs, so as not to not accept the chains of their NCEPT captivity and waste away the prime of their lives wallowing in anger, bitterness, and self-pity in some god forsaken shithole like ROC, hoping that their overlords will deign to allow them to improve their station. How much you willing to up your PAC, cucks?

Also both rounds had the 30% trainee ratio cap but they clearly didn’t adhere to it.

Just basing off what’s posted on the NATCA website, all the way near the top of the first page of the temp rules, when you click the link, said facility selection cap as like second point of the page. It said selections for a single facility won’t exceed during this panel. So not a round, it’s an entire panel even if it was 100 Rounds.

If you publish the rules of the NCEPT and follow them, then ok. But I can see why people get super angry about NCEPT when they don’t even follow the said rules they even publish.

Congrats to you my guy for D21, seriously though, everything lined up for you
