No I’m making fun of the people who think a ton of people left the union nationally and the chances are those individuals aren’t the type of people who are gonna want to go to Southern California. That’s why no one put in for sct.

Hey everyone, just have a quick question... I know we won’t see the managers rankings for a while but I was told something that kind of confused me so I want to clarify. Say a facility could take two this last NCEPT. If you were ranked 1 by the ATM, but had a category 2 release, and the #2 and #3 ranked were eligible for category 1 release, would they get picked over you because they can get to their new facility faster or does the managers rankings overrule the category and releases? Sorry if this has been asked before.

It’s supposed to go by managers ranking so the guy ranked #1 should be picked, but with the now top secret dynamic decisions we just don’t know how it ultimately shakes out.

The SCT question is fascinating too. It’s not that “nobody” had in for there. Lots of people did who were eligible to leave, but no pick ups despite being top ten on PPP.

Maybe a dynamic decision was made that SCT currently has too big of a trainee backlog? That’s not supposed to stop it if the minimum pick up was 1 and the priority ranking was so high, but they do what they do.

Yea my facility was eligible to release 1, per the numbers. I even got calls from 3 different facilities to my OM and FacRep. I don’t know what happened.

Facilities with less than 100 controllers had a cap of 2 selections this panel so if I had to guess I'd say you were below the STT and MBS controllers on the ATM ranking list. That's the only thing I can think of

Did you have in for JAX? If you were ranked above the STT and MBB controllers on the ATM ranking list. I can see issue with that.

They didn’t even follow that cap at all. For example, look at RDU picking up 5 people.

Also, they didn’t follow the 30% trainee ratio. For example, DLH picking up.

If NCEPT followed the rules they published and the PPT published, then people could get ok with it. But I can see the anger in people when NCEPT don’t follow their own published rules.

Total trainees at SCT=24. 11.2% trainee to CPC

Total trainees at NCT=30. 19.6% trainee to CPC

If you know your FAA computer login the list is on the KSN here: TAC Portal - Error

You have to change the Domain from "KSN" to "FAA"

I tried going into KSN but it doesn't show anything related to this. I'm not really familiar with the site but I keep hearing about all the info people look up on there.

Agreee. I have access to the portal and you can’t correlate pac donations to pick ups. It’s truly luck of the draw in many cases. If you can be released and the stars line up: boom DEN for you!

Oh and not being that big an asshole. That’s kind of important.
