Does a round 1 facility pickup trump a round 2 pickup?

Ex:
Controller A gets selected round 1 with facility XYZ priority number 200 but in round 2 gets selected from facility ZZZ with priority 6. Which facility would the controller go to.

It doesn’t trump it. The controller won’t be considered for round 2 if they were selected during round 1.

I guess my question would be if 2 controller are at the same facility. Controller a gets select round 1 with a facility preference number of 200 and controller b gets selected round 2 but a facility preference of 3, who would be released? If controller a is selected round 1 , would that prevent any future controllers be prevented from being seen?

If the facility can only release 1, the moment controller A gets selected, no one else is eligible and they will not be considered. Controller B would not be looked at for the second round.

In the second round, having a facility preference of 3 actually equates out to 316 (3 + 313 first pass facilities) if it helps you to view it like that.

If your facility can only release one; The moment controller A is selected, controller B no longer exists. Round one comes before round 2. Your scenario would never happen because controller B doesn't exist once the second round comes around.

On the unofficial PPT updated weekly, there is only one column for ATCS inbound. Does that value = Committed ATCS + Placement list inbound (as indicated on the monthly PPT) or are they just showing the Committed ATCS?

Pretty sure the inbounds and outbounds on that page are just taken from PPT committed columns.

The unofficial PPT simply grabs the data from the weekly staffing workbook updates that each facility controls. Placement list inbounds/outbounds are an HR function.
With that being said, placement list inbounds/outbounds that occurred due to selections on the previous NCEPT panel will all be resolved on the next official PPT.

Does anybody know how applying to a bid on USAJOBS affects your ERRs and the NCEPT process?

I'm assuming your ERRs would stay in the system and be considered in the panel until you signed a TOL from a bid? Is it only after signing a TOL that they would be removed?

Thanks!

Correct, ERR's stay in the system until you are selected and accept a TOL from an MPP bid on USA Jobs.

Can anyone explain the rankings on the Priority Placement List? I've noticed some Cat 1 facilities with 0 possible gains that are highly ranked. Is this because of their possible losses? Are they ranked highly so they have better positioning in Round 2?

Ex:
CLT: priority #25
lvl 12, cat 1, 95.2% staffed as of 5/23/18
0 possible gains but 8 possible losses.

ZJX: priority #42
lvl 11, cat 1, 90.5% staffed as of 5/23/18
0 possible gains but 14 possible losses

PHX: priority #55
lvl 10, cat 1, 107.1% staffed as of 5/23/18
0 possible gains but 7 possible losses.

Are possible losses defined only as retirement? Sorry if this is a repeat question, I looked around but couldn't find a clear answer. Is it even possible to ERR to a facility like PHX that is over 100% staffed? If not, why are they even on the list?

Thanks!

Losses are CPCs they can lose in NCEPT. Its not retirements. It's possible to ERR anywhere. But PHX is hard. Any well staffed facility is hard.
Breakaway posted the Decision Lense info in the June NCEPT thread. It's very complex, number of selections is only 1 of many factors that determines priority ranking.

10-12 facilities do not get to select in the second round. They can only select to the national average. Therefore, at this time, no it is not possible to ERR to PHX. They are listed because everyone is listed.

It is possible to ERR to PHX. It is not possible to be selected by PHX this round. An ERR is a request.

Does anyone have a definitive answer on the points system? I was told by the Southwest HR representative that it wasn't necessary to fill the points out; Then I spoke to the NATCA rep for ZLA and he said he wasn't aware about anything stating points weren't necessary and that I should fill them out on my paperwork.

Points don't mean anything and have no bearing. Not wrong to fill them out or leave them blank, there's no impact either way.

Yes, standard procedure.

This will happen to my facility in the coming weeks going from cat 2 which I was picked up on to cat 1. Is there an official way of asking for an earlier date as in waiting for the late dec official PPT to come out which shows it? Also are they required to approach you and ask because they became cat 1 or is an earlier release date only required by them if you are the one to ask?
