No it doesn't. Atleast people would have a chance to move. If I had a 3 year release like under the old system, I would be at a different facility right now.

You'd get passed up unless the facility direly wanted you, then it would be the same as this system except the ones causing people to not move would be ATMs...so in a way I guess better because at least you know who's desk to shit on
 
What is the reasoning behind 1 year firm release date. The temporary rules state category 2 release but also say the release date “will be” 1 year.

My facility can release me whenever really.

Any insights?
 
There is an email that came out on the 15th of July stating all releases will be 12 months no matter what. People who have had signed FOLs with earlier dates are receiving amended FOLs.
