You'd get passed up unless the facility direly wanted you, then it would be the same as this system except the ones causing people to not move would be ATMs...so in a way I guess better because at least you know who's desk to shit on

I’m certified at level 12s across the country… on VATSIM..

What is the reasoning behind 1 year firm release date. The temporary rules state category 2 release but also say the release date “will be” 1 year.

My facility can release me whenever really.

There is an email that came out on the 15th of July stating all releases will be 12 months no matter what. People who have had signed FOLs with earlier dates are receiving amended FOLs.

Higher ups. Your ATM should have it. The reasoning I was told was covid.

Most rules and decisions in the FAA come around because of a couple facilities. Just like daily training time requirement and ODO etc etc.
