I think border patrol will be an outlier. That’s this admin political battle, I’ll be curious to see any other federal unions negotiations under this admin. That’s the true test

Your argument is that there will be no public sympathy. I mean frame it the wrong way and sure. I'm not asking for a teary-eyed Nick to go on Fox or CNN and say "pwetty pwrease give us mo money, we ONLY make won hundred fifty THOUSAND dollars."

You frame it relative to other careers. Longshoremen, Flight Attendants, Buc-ees managers, In-N-Out managers- etc, etc, etc. FFS I'm pretty sure some Panda Express GMs clear more than some controllers.

You do the same thing everyone else and their mother does--- tell the truth with a fuck ton of spin and out-of-context info. For instance, you play-down the top of the band, play up the bare minimum low level pay.

Hell, even making up fake stories shouldn't be off the table considering that one of our top leaders has advocated for it--- he said after being called out for his lies: "If I have to create stories so that the American media actually pays attention to the suffering of the Air Traffic Controllers, then that's what I'm going to do."
