FAA and PASS have come to a tentative agreement for their new contract.
Highlights: $5,000 bonus upon ratification,
40% sick leave buyback at retirement,
Updated telework policy.

Someone else correct me if I am wrong, but this is for the AVS guys, the ATO one is still at the table. FG payscale is always a win and the bonus money, 40% value for Sick Leave is a huge improvement as well. Telework has been a tough one, glad they protected it and set new standards.

Yeah, for the Aviation Safety people.

Timing of the 40% sick leave is interesting, because for ATC supervisors, HR sent out an update a couple days ago that a policy exception was made on a yearly basis starting in mid June that they're now receiving the 40% buyback also.

MSS-2 also now eligible (back dated to March this year) to receive Sunday pay in addition to the overtime pay on Sundays.
Can be renewed annually.

Eh… FG=GS pay scale, not much you can do there outside of a yearly bonus or QSI.

The problem with signing bonuses are they are one time and don’t compound. Employers love offering them as average memebrs have a hard time saying no.

Oh I agree and know, just there are rules to the GS system that are more stringent.
