It’s fair for the people that met the requirements had the panel been held as scheduled. Imagine if you could release someone at that panel but had a change in the numbers after that and you were no longer eligible? That would screw you over so they avoided that and did the right thing for once

I’m in the opposite boat. Our facility couldn’t release anyone back then but now they can…. Using the old info is prolly going to screw us bc they just closed a bunch of TMU spots. So if they take cpc from in house they are removed from the numbers and we will be fucked yet again. Thanks for all the “dynamic decisions” being made.

You wouldn’t have been eligible at that point had the panel actually taken place in May. So is it more fair you to release someone now versus someone who was eligible being told they can no longer release because the FAA screwed up on the lists

It’s really simple guys. The lists were wrong. You can’t run the panel with the wrong lists. So they the fixed the lists. The whole process takes a minute because HR needs a week to prep the lists then the lists are open for ranking for a week then AJT gets a week to prep the panel.

For releases, does the priority list matter in the sense that if your facility is higher up, can't pick up but can release they would skip you for someone at a facility lower down, or would they just go by the manager rankings as long as your facility can release?

Manager rankings are god as long as your facility can still release (nobody else selected for a higher priority facility from your facility cutting off your numbers).
