The red book specified two years max, I don’t have one next to me and it’s not on the NATCA website, because of course it isn’t. Do you have any specific examples of release dates further than that?
Red book how cute. I’m talking white book and earlier my sweet summer child.

Has anyone with a TOL heard from security about a clearance refresh? I got a TOL and shortly after, a call from security saying I was due for a refresh and need to do E-quip again. Curious how long that takes to process

Yeah same thing for me. Not sure how long it takes though.

Only those who had leave around Jan 6th and bought tickets to D.

Eqip takes about 15 minutes to go through if nothing has changed. All on the work computer. Don't gaff it off though because they know everything already. It's an integrity test. Like if you've had something in collections on your credit and you answer "no" to any recent collections because you just clicked no on everything to get it over with, they'll respond with your credit report handy and say "hey, why did you say no to this and clearly falsify a government security document?" Then go on to do a complete investigation to see what else you could be hiding. Take it seriously. I've seen it happen.

I had a release date of 2 years and 5 months from my first facility to my current one back in 2012.

Here’s a ? for everyone telling us about the wonderful adventure of waiting a year to get to your next facility.
True story: my first release was 45 days after only being at my first facility for 18 months.
I had to catch a wagon train to make the move though….

Well… It’s still beats facilities trying to hold people for two or three or four years on a release… And it is a maximum of one year if your facility can let you go sooner that is always up to negotiation
No it doesn't. Atleast people would have a chance to move. If I had a 3 year release like under the old system, I would be at a different facility right now.
