I don't want to burst anyone's bubble but I know for a fact they are starting to be very picky, especially when it comes to ARTCCs now taking low level terminal guys/gals. It used to be that they HAD to select everyone who was on their list, but I know there is some discretion now.

Willfully selecting less than they're allotted draft picks would be a game changer. And might create more of a market to get 6s to go to 9s first. But in my uneducated opinion it seems strange to value a CPC at a low up/down less than an AG.

Last round there were only 192 employees even requesting transfers and 69 of them got approved back then... So if 151 got approved now it's gotta be a pretty decent percentage

Our rep told us something along those lines last month too. I thought he was full of it but maybe he's not as dumb as I thought.

Some of the centers have a 85% - 90% success rates. I'm sure at those ones it doesn't matter where you are from.

I'm sure if there is an ounce of common sense the FAA will squash it. Just an observation from my 10+ years working for the federal gummint.

Also what Mike2010 is referring to is the illusion of choice. This is the first panel where centers have more eligible ERRs then slots. They can't take less then the eligible spots and just because they can select 8, have 17 ERRs and ranked the VFR towers 9-17 doesn't mean 1-8 will be available by the time the NCEPT gets to their facility.
