I’m not in your region, but my HR told me medical and security clearances typically take 2-3 weeks.

I'm waiting on great lakes security check as well. Called HR rep and they told me security is a bit behind so it could be awhile.

Anyone know why they put selectees through security and all this again? It would be nice if working for the agency already was good enough. Just seems like wasted time and energy for a formality to me.

I want to say it’s for people going terminal to enroute because it’s a different clearance but I’m also an idiot so I’m not solid on that

Great lakes. I emailed HR rep to check on the status. Then 14 days later I checked back in to find out I was cleared but waiting on the deviation decision.

I think you’re looking for the word grace. It’s receiving something you don’t deserve. Mercy is not receiving what you do deserve (ie God’s wrath).
