February (Q2) 2025

Anyone know if they got rid of the requirement for form 3330-42, the request for promotion consideration and acknowledge? The faa website said the document has been canceled as of 1-2-25 and they didn't replace it with another one. Anyone have luck finding it recently? Thanks!
There's an ERR generator on here that plenty of people have used. I'm sure it still uses the -42.

Is Fax the only way to submit a package? Seems crazy but is the only number I see. There isn't an email? lol
You can email your package to all regions. The NCEPT POCs are listed on the KSN site and I think on the NATCA NCEPT page.

I have emailed each region a package in the past and gotten a screenshot confirmation of the package being submitted so I'm not sure why everyone says it has to be faxed

The language is ‘per Agency directives outlined in the HRPM.’ Also HR has been work from home for 5 years now so fax just gets fwd to email anyway. But things are rarely standardized across all regions even though the language is often standardized across all regions.

Gotcha, I didn't realize it was written out that you're supposed to fax. Definitely seems a bit dated. But like I said I haven't had any issues just emailing the package to the proper POC for whichever region, but I also ensure I get a confirmation from them

Round 1

  • Releasing facility must be at or above 85% Current % CPC to Target (Column L) and at or above 85% Projected % to Target (Column AA).
  • Releases stop when the facility drops below 85% Current or 85% Projected % to Target.
  • Gaining facilities must be below 90% Project to Target.
  • Except for the facilities that meet the criteria in the next bullet, all facilities will make one selection at a time.
  • Facilities that have double-digit gains to the Projected National Average (Column AA) will make two selections (if available) at a time during the first iteration of Round 1. These facilities will make one selection (if available) at a time during subsequent iterations of Round 1.
  • The selection order will be based on the most recent Decision Lens agreement. Once every facility eligible to gain has made their selections, the process will repeat until all possible selections have been made. Facilities will no longer make selections once they reach 90%.
Round 2

  • Releasing facility must be at or above 85% Current % CPC to Target (Column L) and at or above 85% Projected % to Target (Column AA).
  • Releases stop when the facility drops below 85% Current or 85% Projected % to Target.
  • Gaining facilities will only be Facility Pay Level 8-9s.
  • Facilities will make one selection at a time. The selection order will be based on the most recent Decision Lens agreement. Once every facility eligible to gain has made one selection (if available), the process will repeat until all possible selections have been made. Facilities will no longer make selections once they reach 110% Projected to Target.
A80/MIA/ZOA Priority Release MOU

  • A80/MIA/ZOA Priority Release MOU Selections will be made at the conclusion of the NCEPT Panel.
  • Selection order will be based on the facility with the fewest number of inbound ERRs as a percentage of vacancies to the Projected National Average.

Has the rule about gaining facility being less than 90% project to target been around for awhile or is that new?
They kept the rules the same, they just got rid of the previous "round 1's" in which it was "Gains to PNA". So now Round 2 and 3 moved up to Round 1 and 2.

These rules are fucking garbage.

If someone in my facility has ERRs filed to two of the same facilities as myself and they just CPC’d a few months ago, could they get selected before me if ranked higher on a manager ranking list or does my original submission date take precedence?

It’s all about rankings, the submission date doesn’t matter. So yeah, they could be picked over you unfortunately

That would be a fun grievance. Someone would have to spill the beans and keep elevating until it’s won and you get priority placement next panel.

How so? It’s not competitive and it’s not career progression. It’s a lateral move in the eyes of the agency so they don’t have to provide justification for their selection order.
