If I'm at a CAT 2 facility and the facility that I want has no category, does the no category mean they are at their staffing levels and I have zero chance of getting picked up?
From my understanding.....it hints to that facility actually needing people since they can't release anyone. I would look at the gains to national average column and their priority as far as determining your chance. You have to remember the other possible variables like people that put in for that same facility and more importantly the people at your facility who put in for places with higher priority. Lots of variables. But i am no expert, just did some researching.

Categories are related to release only. So CAT2 means if you're selected you're released at or before 12 months and it's determined by your ATM and 'negotiated' with the recieving ATM. Receiving facility category is irrelevant.

Facility Category is just relevant for releases (Specifies within what amount of time from selection you are requried to be released).

For selection; on this resource "Facility Priority and Vacany List" look at the "Possible Gains" column for the facility that you want. That is how many they are able to select in the first round.

Amore accurate way to look at total "Possible Gains" is to look at "Priority Placement Tool" columns Y and Z
Priority Placement Tool
For Facility Levels 10-12 look at column Y for "Possible Gains"
For Facility Levels 4-9 look at column Z for total "Possible Gains"

We just had a CPC resign this week. Said person is currently deployed and their official resignation date is set for Aug 4th. Even though the facility will never see them again, would/should they still count on the staffing workbook because of the official date of Aug 4th? I get that they are gone but we are wondering if this will get treated like someone picked up on ERR or a retirement who stays on the workbook until their official last day.

I look at it as that person is still assigned to your facility, just on leave, through August 4th. So they're still a body counted for staffing.

How do bids affect Ncept? Specifically if I hold a TOL or FOL for a bid job can I still put in err and get picked up that way? Or if I hold a ncept release can I still get picked up via a bid job before turning down the bid job?

- Accepting a TOL for a MPP bid on usajobs.gov will remove all your ERR's in the system (you cannot be selecting via ERR after accepting an MPP bid).

- While I'd highly advise against doing it, accepting a TOL for an ERR via the NCEPT does not prevent you from continuing to apply for MPP bids. If selected on an MPP bid while holding a TOL from an ERR, you'll need to make a decision between the two.

Looking for some guidance. I was picked up on an ERR last December which I initially accepted, then declined a month later. I have put in a ERR this panel and I just found out that my ATM never let NCEPT know and I’m still showing as an outbound. Would I be eligible to get picked up this panel (we’re eligible to release 6) or does my ATM need to let NCEPT know I’m no longer an outbound? TIA

Are you still showing outbound on staffing workbook? Is that what you just found out? I believe that is where the ncept gets all their info for the panels. Change that before they lock the staffing and you should be fine. Correct me if I’m wrong anyone are do you not want to help this person out because they declined and think they shouldnt be helped?

The ATM has nothing to do with declining the ERR. It sounds like your talking about the staffing workbook, which has nothing to do with you filing ERRs. If the facility numbers are wrong, let the FACREP/ATM know. The ERR's are on you to call HR.

If that's what he's asking, you're correct. His post just confused me so I figured I'd let someone that understood better answer. Nothing to do with not wanting to help.

Here is a question about ERRs/ NCEPT and medical, can someone ERR if they have their medical temporarily pulled? Would they still be able to be selected on the next panel? He is not on the medical hold list yet for its only I think a 30-60 day suspension of medical. This is not me, its about someone else in my facility, I am just trying to see if I can get an advantage in case they put in paperwork to a facility higher on the Priority List then I have.

Do academy classes for terminal/ enroute effect the amount of gains a facility can take?
Example: 2 weeks before selection, priority list says facility x can gain 5 people.
Academy class graduates after the priority list is posted and 2 people are going to facility x. Is facility x now only selecting only 3 people or will the be able to select up to 5?

Facility
A80 Atlanta Tracon
Question: Given the A80/LAX MOU was modified and basically cancelled the prior one minus return rights, can someone from either bid and be released for C90 or N90 now?
