With all the craziness going on with NCEPT not following there own published rules. Would one be able to hypothetically grieve the whole process from the MOU ultimately getting article 100!? Or is it just a bad idea. I just feel like A LOT of people got done wrong. Example SCT, DLH, MIA, and JAX?
 
Agreee. I have access to the portal and you can’t correlate pac donations to pick ups. It’s truly luck of the draw in many cases. If you can be released and the stars line up: boom DEN for you!

Oh and not being that big an asshole. That’s kind of important.
At least DEN picked up from level 11s this time.
 
I know my facility (EUG) was on the round 1 to release (we could release 2). I applied for SCT and SNA, both where on round 1, both could gain. Not a single person was selected for SCT and no one in my facility got selected to leave. Therefore no one was selected over me at my facility me. How was I not selected?

again.... SCT picked up 0, EUG released 0, both round 1, I applied for SCT; my application was dated 12/2/2021, not selected.

I will grieve it.

Dynamic decisions? Maybe the agency told them to hold off so they could pick people up on the supe bid

SCT regularly has picked up from smaller VFR Towers. EUG to SCT would not be impossible.

They didn’t even follow that cap at all. For example, look at RDU picking up 5 people.

Also, they didn’t follow the 30% trainee ratio. For example, DLH picking up.

If NCEPT followed the rules they published and the PPT published, then people could get ok with it. But I can see the anger in people when NCEPT don’t follow their own published rules.
This 100%. Publishing changes to the process then blatantly not following them is just stupid.

The union doesn’t care bro. Once these big wigs are in position they seem to forget their roots, if they were ever unfortunate enough to work at a facility far from home or a low level up down/tower. Upper union leaders are at a disconnect with the workforce. It’s honestly unbelievable. From the way Covid was handled, to the way trainees are still sitting at home 2 years after Covid is ridiculous.

We elect these leaders for what? And even if you #justemailpaulandtrish (now Santa and Lebovige) what comes of it? Nothing. Shut up and be glad we have the #greatestjobintheworld

The reps don’t want to release anyone because they might have to work if too many people leave

No I’m making fun of the people who think a ton of people left the union nationally and the chances are those individuals aren’t the type of people who are gonna want to go to Southern California. That’s why no one put in for sct.
I work at SCT, and we usually rank 50+ people every ncept. I’m curious to find out what the local says about us not getting anyone on this panel.

Probably a dumb question, but does anyone know if Article 60 has successfully been used on any of these NCEPTs? Would be interesting to see how often it actually happens.
 
Did you have in for JAX? If you were ranked above the STT and MBB controllers on the ATM ranking list. I can see issue with that.

I don't think it's a thing anymore but about 2-3 years ago, it was 100% a thing. I can't say that it was a national thing but it was said at the regional level to consider PAC donations. I know for a fact a Miami facility was using it as a factor.

Maybe the panel saw the chance to block your career growth as an extraordinary opportunity
