Since when do the manager ranking lists get published?

Is it possible to get historical lists? Say from 2017? Lol

They don't but you can get them through an FOIA request, and I think you might be able to. It's PII so according to ASH SAVI they may or may not have to keep them either as long as a scratch pad or 25 years...

I don’t think controllers here can answer that question. Only the ATM can explain their “logic”... It makes zero sense to me. Maybe that’s why I’m a peon. I’m trying to play checkers and the manager is playing 4D chess.

We had one controller, from Vegas, certify without any issues. Another one, washed out and hardshipped, for “allergies,” to a level 10, on the west side of Florida. Hopefully, this L30 controller is the first one and not one like the “allergy” one.
I’ve met the hardship dude. Seemed like a nice guy.

The L30 “allergy” controller? If so, it was a woman, not a man.
We had a certified controller hardship, to the west side of Florida, and he’s an awesome dude, but he wasn’t the one who worked in Las Vegas. There are three formally certified controllers, from A80, down there.

Wish they’d produce these lists as a csv or excel file. Either way this is nice. Thanks for putting in the effort.

I don’t think anyone is asking controllers here to explain this. But when you come on here and complain about it as though it’s the level 5 controllers fault they got selected over the level 11 controller. As you said - ask the ATM. have you voiced your concerns to the powers that be?

Man, how are they allowed to completely ignore article 60 in all these ranks? What a joke of a cba
Idk how that article has been used historically but if you interpret it as it’s written it has almost no teeth.

I’m glad we are on personal discussion terms again... Do you seriously think I’m the kind of person who has kept my mouth shut and not voiced frustration to the union or management? Plus, of the two of us, I’ve actually had the balls to email, call, and sit face to face with my RVP, Rinaldi, Gilbert, Forrey, et cetera. If I have an issue, I try to find an answer or fix the problem. The issue is that there should be a system to upward mobility NOT being selected because you’re simply available. That’s the issue with NCEPT. It is a numbers game NOT one of qualifications. How can an ATM put six lower level controllers ahead of someone from a level 11 tracon? Maybe they called and the Las Vegas ATM gave them a bad recommendation? Maybe you have a looney tunes ATM that ranks people based on how many times they’ve applied to the facility? Who knows, but that wouldn’t be the first ATM, during my career, that has made dumb choices. You see ATMs overriding unanimous TRB determinations to only have the person they put back into training wash out, pop positive on a piss test, get a BUI/DUI, lose their medical, or whatever. Hell, how can an OM not be able to approve leave, or even address the leave request, in a timely manner, when you’re fat staffed? Got to get those eLMS in I guess. You can voice your concerns and frustrations as much as you want, but at the end of the day, management is going to pretty much try to do whatever they want. If the ATM is allowed to make selections, in whatever order they want, they will try to choose whomever they want.

Which is exactly the type of situation that we were told ncept would be solving. The good old boy network of smoke and mirrors.
I don’t think they ever wrote that down anywhere lol. That was just to get the membership on board. The only change to the good ole boy program is whether your facility can release, and whether another facility grabs that release before they get it.

You're correct, it isn't written down anywhere. At least people are getting a better idea of how messed up things still are

True. I figured it out first round of ncept when the 12 I wanted picked up 5/6/7s. The ncept union rep let me know the order they ranked and why they got who they got. That was when we thought the ncept panel was changing selections. Opened my eyes quick.
