GREAT selections for A80!!! I can’t wait to see how a 52 total ops a day tower controller will do working the approach wall. Can’t be worse than 32below’s bitching and whining though... It’s a sad state when people are being selected and I have no clue where their facility is located. RVS, CID, PIE, AMA, FLO, CSG, and ONE legitimate selection from L30.

Haha you think RVS is 52 ops a day? Do you think the same for Deer Valley, Falcon or Grand Forks? Smaller tower doesn't always mean slow

I’m referring to the CSG selection, but why we are at it... Where in the hell is RVS and why does a tower person get selected at a HIGH LEVEL TRACON versus other qualified people?!?

RVS is in Tulsa, OK. The word is of the 21 they could potentially get, only 11 submitted ERRs there. Also, who knows what their previous experience is prior to those towers.

Just because there are openings doesn’t mean we should select them/be forced to choose them! I’m sorry it is a waste of time. How many tower only people (not counting ATL transfers) have ever certified at A80? If you guessed ONE, you guessed too many... You aren’t working at a level 7 tower only if you are a good radar controller... Hell, PDK people can’t certify here and that have a small understanding of the operation around metro Atlanta. I’m sorry, but a 520 op tower only controller shouldn’t be transferring to a 1.3M op radar facility. It’s FRAUD, WASTE, and ABUSE!
