This may be the only chance for those guys to get out and make some money or get home. NCEPT is the crappy system we have so complain to the union or vote out the reps who support it. Don't knock your fellow controllers who are trying to better their lives.
Right, but at the same time the background of individual also counts. You never know the whole picture we just see facility they are currently at.People say that till they’re training a level 5 tower only trainee at a large TRACON
Then they say this is the dumbest shit the faa does to people
I’ve tried to get a four level cap since, I believe, it was May 2015.Write to Lebovidge and tell him to fix it?
Yet, we should all be surprised when that person washes out of a large tracon because they didn’t have the background to be successful at a busy approach facility.First ever release for Moline. Where else were we sps to go when there are like 10 places to choose?
I prefer to just mention this colossal failure, to them, face to face. There’s stil time to email Paul and trish
So we should be excited about getting unqualified transfers because a body is a body? Staff the mid level facilities and let those people move up. They have a much better chance at being successful. This may be the only chance for those guys to get out and make some money or get home. Im not gonna beat this dead horse. OTS get sent str8 to high level facilities and make it everyday.Yet, we should all be surprised when that person washes out of a large tracon because they didn’t have the background to be successful at a busy approach facility.
I'm sure this is true, but as a whole which group do you think has a higher success rate?Im not gonna beat this dead horse. OTS get sent str8 to high level facilities and make it everyday.
Yeah definitely if cpc's at 9s/10s can get to 12s I'm sure the success would be higher.I'm sure this is true, but as a whole which group do you think has a higher success rate?
What was your background when you got there?Yet, we should all be surprised when that person washes out of a large tracon because they didn’t have the background to be successful at a busy approach facility.
I agree, its a hard problem to solve.Yeah definitely if cpc's at 9s/10s can get to 12s I'm sure the success would be higher.
Still doesnt mean 5s can't check out.
Everything aside, NCEPT is the way it is, and it's broken.
You apparently made it through training wherever you are so why why can’t the people you are putting down do it?I’ve tried to get a four level cap since, I believe, it was May 2015.
