New time off between shifts mandate. Big change

I heard the 12 hours before the mid stays, 10 hours before all other shifts. Only new thing I've heard is the option to work a six hour shift on your fourth day (before a mid) but you have to make up the hours earlier in your work week.

Still not seeing a great way to implement this at 24 hour facilities.

Straight shifts will give you the exact same coverage. The question will be will you rotate or will you just work the same time all year. 6 hour before the mid wouldn’t be that good unless you could also work a 6 hour mid. Like 6-12 12-8 would be horrendous.

Who works between 2200-0000?
Exactly, this is gonna be very difficult for 24/7 facilities with minimal staffing. Closers gonna have to work 1530-0030.

Again we don't have the bodies to make this work unless they increase our "number" from 15 (which we never have) to 18. But if we legit have 16 I think we could do straight shift and rotate weekly.

You would have to rotate, who be unfair not to
