Any chance the lower-than-expected managers lists numbers for some facilities are because some places, particularly big houses (LAS, JFK, ORD) are filtering their managers lists like has been discovered to some extent?
No chance. They all had lower level facility ERRs on there. Manager's have the ability to write "insufficient experience", but not to block you from being on a list entirely.
As crazy as it is for me to type this, this thread has almost been a microcosm of what I saw on the manager's ranking list. The last three panels, this place has been buzzing around this time. Now, relatively quiet. With around 60% of CPC's being eligible this panel, I certainly expected more. A number of perennially eligible facilities had 0 ERR's out. A number of centers with hundreds of employees only had a total of 2-3 ERRs out. There will be a number of facilities who are eligible to release people that won't have anyone move this panel.
I know there are facilities that haven't been eligible yet and I'm sure a few with fierce competition to get out, but nationwide, as a whole, your overall competition to get places has gone down tremendously. With the amount of people eligible increasing each panel, I hope it's a trend that continues.

Yeah I fgured mgrs had some bit of ability to filter the results... Just didn't know on which end...

Dare I say ncept is working?

:Collective gasp:

Where do you see ERRs listed by losing facility?

Wow your ATM gives you some real access there that's cool.
To be honest, I wish more ATM's and FacReps did it this way. For those facilities not in the top 20 or so, it helps greatly in determining your ability to select people from certain facilities and how much time and effort you put into vetting candidates. Here are the steps we did and as far as a guide goes, I think it's pretty good.

Step 1 - There a number of facilities that will be guaranteed selections this panel (They have less ERRs then eligible spots). If a facility is a guaranteed selection and ranked above yours and that facility can only release one, you can cross those names off your list (same goes for 2 guaranteed selections above your facility and the facility can only release 2, etc). Determine the other candidates with a 0% chance of falling to you and cross those off your list. Once you determine the people who will 100% be eligible or have a strong likelihood of being eligible, the vetting begins.

Step 2 - Joint vetting. ATM calls their ATM and/or FLM, FacRep calls their FacRep.

Step 3 - Share the information and jointly rank the list.

Step 4 - Start with #1 on your list and call him/her directly. If you know it will be a 100% selection, make sure they will accept. If they will, awesome. I'm sure they appreciate knowing early and not having to deal with the ever building stress of the next week. If they won't accept, that's fine too, adjust your ranking accordingly and call #2 on your list (who just became #1).

If every facility did this, it would greatly limit the amount of declined TOLs.

Didn't I tell you to stop making so much sense?!? It needs to be a roll of the dice and a gamble for peoples career that way it keeps them entertained. But really, you need to be involved at a higher level when you check out at your new spot!

That might help the process, but you will still have the assholes who will say they would accept and then not. I’ve met them at both facilities I even been to. Same people that are trying to block others releases etc.

Certainly nothing is full proof, but that's the info I'm counting on coming out in Step 1 or Step 2. In Step 1 you can hope to see red flags like putting in for every facility in the top 20 only, etc. In Step 2, I'm relying on the ATM or FacRep shedding light on the person as a whole.

It is unfortunate that people look negatively about people who apply to numerous locations. This probably hurt me when bidding. Each round other facilities selected people from low facilities over me so I just keep adding another facility to my ERR list. It doesn’t pay anymore to have in for that “one” facility when facreps and ATMs are just pulling in their bros. One of the rounds every facility I put I for selected people one or two levels below me.

I needed to get out and keep my career going so I was willing to go to any place I put in for, but the majority probably saw how many facilities I applied for and skipped me thinking I must not really want to go there. I wasted a year playing the single facility game and the swap game.

Agree @Uscolt45 just because you have in for multiple high priority places doesn't mean you're a flake... It just means you want to advance your career and have 8 people competing for one slot out...

To clarify, if you have a number of ERR's out, I don't look at it negatively if there's a consistent theme (career progression/regression, specific area, etc), but (in looking at the top 20 now), if you're throwing in for 10's, 11's, and 12's and also all those 5's, it's fair to wonder what your true motivation is. It's something I would look clarify with the FacRep.

Thought I'd share with everyone .... A facility called about me, and asked if I had any radar experience. "Conveniently" my ATM forgot that I went to RTF at my last facility.

In the 3 years did you get certified? CPC?
I checked out one of the sectors, but not CPC.
My old trainers told me that ATMs a lot of times like people that have already been to RTF because it doesn't come out of their budget.

ATMs also like people who certified...

But seriously... From the sounds of things, you washed at an up down or some sort of approach facility... Went tower only... Made CPC... And now want to go to another up down or approach facility. No shame in that, good luck. However; I would hope an ATMs deciding factor when choosing tower only CPCs isn't whether or not they've already been to RTF.
