Uhh isn't it.Imagine being so oblivious you thought the reauth was pointless.

The "Annual Salary" on your employee express is your "base pay", which is your "basic pay" multiplied by your locality rate. That is what is used in your pension calculation (high 3 of base pay aka annual salary). So hypothetically, your next three years will be your highest, they are also your last three. no family or anything to worry about.
your base is x
at x+fac1 you make 200k
at x+fac2 you make 175
you'd be better off going to facility 1? My bad on my misinformation
Like privatization? Still done get why people are so scared of that.Or maybe one new law that put ATC in an entirely separate system that exempted us from all the other rules that would normally apply to federal employees.
Lol buddy I live the privatization life every day and have for the last 5 years. I promise you want no part of it.Like privatization? Still done get why people are so scared of that.
Do you have a single clue what FAA reauth is?!?Yah but they spend all their time Lobbying for pointless shit like the FAA reauthorization. Like congress was going to defund the FAA if they didn’t remind them not to.
You think it’s just some stamp to “reauthorize”….it changes nothing?Imagine thinking it wasn’t going to get reauthorized without natca.
Yah if they want to go lobby for a new contract in there they should. What good thing are they lobbying for? They just say staffing 100 timesYou think it’s just some stamp to “reauthorize”….it changes nothing?
To give you an idea of the amount of change reauth has….EVERYTHING is on the table.
The house bill just passed changes pilot retirement age to 67. It could just as easily changed controller retirement age to 70….you don’t think Natca should take it seriously?!?
There is an order of events to success….reauth and staffing, which takes care of funding, which opens up the ability to go to the table for a contact….Yah if they want to go lobby for a new contract in there they should. What good thing are they lobbying for? They just say staffing 100 times
The contract literally said when we could go negotiate. Our new contract should have been in this reauthorizarion. There is an order of events to success….reauth and staffing, which takes care of funding, which opens up the ability to go to the table for a contact….
But keeps banging your fist on a table and see how far it gets you.
The foundation wasn’t there. That’s what I am trying to say. This reauth is building a foundation. The contract literally said when we could go negotiate. Our new contract should have been in this reauthorizarion.
I don’t give a fuck about that staffing. The FAA hires The controllers. I want my union getting me more 🍞The foundation wasn’t there. That’s what I am trying to say. This reauth is building a foundation.
Do you want to go to the table complaining that staffing sucks, and the workforce is carrying the burden of low staffing, and work from a disadvantage, all to have the faa point to the controller workforce plan, and faa finance numbers and say we are staffed, and then have to fight convincing congress that we are short staffed? Or do you have that fight now, and then go to the table knowing the faa is at the disadvantage?
Lol ok…. Any how do you think that happens?I don’t give a fuck about that staffing. The FAA hires The controllers. I want my union getting me more 🍞
Or, you could fix the pay and attract more staffing. To-mato Ta-mato.Lol ok…. Any how do you think that happens?
You March into the room and say “I WaNt MorE mOneY!” They say “why”, you say “because” and they write a check?
You have to fix staffing before you fix pay, period.
Ain't no shortage of people wanting this jobOr, you could fix the pay and attract more staffing. To-mato Ta-mato.

Resignation/Death Rates in controllers have doubled in 2 years. From double digits, to triple digits. You could say that covid may have contributed, as resignations are in the same category as deaths. However, the FAA has maintained the triple digit forecast for the next decade.
Well you negotiate a contract. That’s how it works. TSA just got a huge raise. Maybe if all the natca lobbyers just worked position we’d have better staffingLol ok…. Any how do you think that happens?

Do you know what TSA did prior to their contract? They spent years getting the law changed, to allow them to negotiate pay. I guess they should have just kept negotiating contracts and skip the law changing part….Well you negotiate a contract. That’s how it works. TSA just got a huge raise. We akrewdy did that. Back when natca wasn’t scared. I’m all for them lobbying for something important. But not to send 100 people to talk about some FAA spreadsheet then just punt on the contract.Do you know what TSA did prior to their contract? Can you please stop saying docuMENts and SPREADsheets how can we get to negotiations when you keep mansplaining with divisive languageWe akrewdy did that. Back when natca wasn’t scared. We have to set the chairs. Then the tables. Light the candles. And then we can possibly ask for an extension. Can you please stop saying documents and SPREADsheets how can we get to negotiations when you keep mansplaining with divisive language
