So guys my manager just showed me the manager list, it's a list of everyone eligible for the gaining facility! I can tell you that ZTL had 31 eligible CLT had 42 JAX had I think around 14-15 and ATL had 0.

Oh yeah DEN had like 65 eligible

If you get another look, you should definitely send the numbers for the top 25 or so.

That is disheartening... hoping some of my random 8s that I put in come through
 
Judging by the last round, DEN just need four level 6 VFR towers to have paperwork in.
This will be the first truly competitive round with the exemption status removal. I'm a 7 up/down and had no shot at DEN this round. But I do think all the big tracons that are picking up dozens are going to be a little disappointed still. Cuz they're lists will still be picked over heavily by the time they're allowed to draft.
 
I know numerous people from eligible facilities 8-11 on the last round that were passed over in favor of low levels. It wasn't "NCEPT". It was management rankings.

I find this hard to believe. Might be a tower only passed over for a lower level radar ticket. Might be that they only appeared eligible but were no longer eligible by the time their requested facility got to draft. Or you could be right and they just got hosed. But that would be outrageous.
 
I assure you, it is outrageous. One of the most sought after towers and they award positions to people with 2.5 years in the agency from level 6 facilities. Be assured, the good ole boy program is alive and well. Staffing category may hamper it, but it still flourishes.
You mean like awarding people who haven't even started with a position at highly desirable places like APA, MIA, BFI, S46, P80 etc?
