That PPT is old and doesn't take into account the last panel.View attachment 759 View attachment 760
Can some translate these for me from the latest priority sheet. Specifically does my facility need 18 more new pickups in order to get to the national average? What does the 83% mean then?
Thanks!
You need 18 more inbounds to get your proj to natl avg. 83.9 is your AOB CPC to target. Natl averages are displayed at the top. Also this is all irrelevant because the proj numbers will change for sure in a few weeks when your training success rate is fixed on the July FPT.View attachment 759 View attachment 760

Fuck. That's what I figured. Thanks for the translation.
You dirtbag!Translation you're fucked!!!!!!
We've had people at my facility go to the NEST and be offered to return. Both controllers turned it down and two controllers accepted it. Seems to happen frequently here. For training failures, article 61 section 3 states a former cpc MAY return to their previous facility if a vacancy exist. Is this may as in "its a possibility" or may as in "you can if you choose"? (Hope that makes sense). Also, what number is used in determining a vacancy....is it the current cpc percent at time of ncept or projected percent? Thanks.
If your facility is less then 100% for the projected CPC % you have the ability to return. It is your choice if you want to return (if able). The Cat 1 release would need to get the 12 month release approved because it is outside the allowable range. I know you guys had 3 people get selected, if your facility was higher on the list then the 3rd guy, you would then be entitled to the Cat 1 release (assuming he gets his 1 year wait approved).I need to ask this a bit different. Can a cat 1 (3-6 month) release be switched with a cat 2 (within 1 year). Aka can I go within 6 if the cat 1 person doesnt want to leave until 1 year.
If it is like previous panels, when they have a firm start date.At what point does a person selected by ncept become part of the projected cpc percent? I can't view the formula on my phone but my assumption is outbounds are included in this formula at some point? The facility I would probably try to nest to is above 100 percent projected but had several selected this panel of ncept...I'm hoping their releases drive down the projected percent prior to next panel??? An outbound or two, if counted, would push that number below 100 percent.

First question is correct, until the PPT is updated you're out of luck in terms of facilities over 100%.Theoretically, that would be after HR sends an offer/an offer is accepted, and when the PPT is updated (which seems to take place monthly, near the end of the month), correct?
To piggyback on RogerDodger's question (since NEST questions seem to be welcome/answered here), NEST facility recommendations could be anything under 100%, correct? I'm in the July NEST, CPC-IT, certified at a tower-only Level 11 through GC/LC3 but washed on LC1/2. There's a number of facilities that should theoretically be under 100% with NCEPT selections from them this last panel (and many I have my eye on), would it be realistic to think they would be options presented? How many facilities are usually presented on a NEST ranking sheet? While I understand this is possibly not the full picture, looking on the Terminal Slot List on KCN, the recent June nest seemed to not have many facilities offered (I counted like ~6 I believe) despite many CPC-ITs and DEVs recommended for retention.
The good news for you is that the larger Tracons are getting so obviously unbelievably railroaded by the NCEPT process that they'll be forced to fix it. You might be worse off in the long run if you were getting only kinda hosed. But they can't continue to not send you enough bodies. The problem will only continue to grow.Fuck. That's what I figured. Thanks for the translation.

Theoretically yes, you could be offered facilities lower then 11 that are not 100% projected staffing. Most nest lists that I've seen had anywhere between 10-20 facilities on them.
Your list depends a lot on your TRB and what facility level they recommended retention at.
Ex. ATM and TRB recommend retention at Level 9 or below.
Same here.Just like we said, ZTL here we come!!! Can't wait to meet you guys!!
