Dems had control of everything from Jan 2021-Jan 2023. Why didn't they just reverse those "stupid tax handouts?" Surely it would've been a very popular move amongst their voters.

The tax plan was introduced as lower for low earners during the Trump administration that slowly raised taxes each year, the wealthy had a large cut and are still lower, the middle and lower class got a cut but are now higher. It was perfect because idiots years later could blame dems.
