This is happening in most of the country. Except in major urban areas, which are seeing historic devaluation.
Phoenix would like a word with you on that.

A lot of us have had other careers before getting selected
You save pay if you are within their band. No raise for going to the same or down grade. If you err from a center to a lower level terminal facility do you get a raise for certifying at both types? Im debating on going two levels down for the location but idk if l want to learn all kinds of new shit again If I’m only limiting my max pay without even a nice raise to get me there faster.

Now if you go sup you can get a raise and learn a lot less, because sup. But it would still have to be inside the sup pay bands. Generally the bottom the higher band is close to the top of a three level lower band. So you could potentially get a 10k ish pay raise to drop two and sit at the top of the sup pay band.
Thats lame. I don’t think I could do the sup thing, even for a raise. Do you know if I was to transfer and certify at a lower level and they then went up to a higher level if I would get the pay raise with them?
If you are bottom of the CPC pay band at your current facility you can go 3 levels down without losing pay and will just be top of the pay band at the new facility. But you will get lump sums instead of pay raises. If you are higher than bottom of the band you can only go down 2 levels without taking a pay cut. If your new facility gets upgraded or you transfer up 1 level you get a 6% pay raiseThats lame. I don’t think I could do the sup thing, even for a raise. “Release dates shall be within twelve (12) months of selection.”So just to make sure I'm understanding correctly anyone picked up from this NCEPT has a release date of 8/2021 even if there facility has cat1 numbers? Will they approve deviations for anyone to leave before then?
That's how I read it, but apparently others are saying it was supposed to be "on" not "in"It’s “release by” instead of “on” and your ATM will hopefully work with you.

Anybody that get picked up have discussions with your facilities about release dates yet? My receiving facility said everyone is probably going to have to wait til August 1st next year, but my current facility is saying they can let me go whenever I want. I asked for 6 months. Nobody seems to know yet and I'm sure everything is pretty fluid right now but just wondering if anyone else has heard anything from their camps yet.
Did you have to coordinate anything with the receiving facility, or did HR just send the TOL with the August date.Got my FOL, released August 1st 2021

The PPT that is run for the specific panel is where they get the data for that panel. Trainees and inbound bodies do count towards projected staffing but it’s specific to each facility because they use the training success rate to predict how many certifications a facility will get from it’s current crop of trainees and inbounds. So you could say it’s fractional since if you have an 80% success rate and 5 trainees it assumes 4 will check out and includes that in the projected staffing.Which of these dates was when staffing changes were supposed to be locked in for the NCEPT? July 1 or July 17? If it was the 1st, then what was the event on the 17th?
Also, is the PPT that is available on the KSN the actual data that the board uses, or do they have something else that is not public? One reason I'm asking is I thought I read somewhere that developmentals count as fractional values toward staffing, but that does not appear to be the case as I look at the formulas in the PPT.
Supposedly both ATMs agreed on January for my release according to mine. However, until I receive an FOL with the date on it I’m not packing any bags.Anybody that get picked up have discussions with your facilities about release dates yet?
