I’ve already filed mine, FLM has it and will send to OPM in January. There’s no date just states file in January so I’m guessing you have until 1/31.
I wouldn’t wait until months end, ensure it gets processed with no issues.

I can see why people would wanna leave NATCA and also stay.

Some things I’ve heard floating around but this is mostly the biggest complaint from friends across the FAA: Bribing members with time off for getting the jab but members who followed the rules and filed an exemption got zero time off. It seems a lot of folks feel like they’re not being represented while the agreement NATCA and the FAA came up with only benefited those who complied immediately and got a vaccine.

Whether you’re pro- or anti-vax shouldn’t matter. Represent and accommodate everyone fairly and evenly across the board.

Except the non vaxxed who were "exposed" 5+ times and had to do 10-14 days quarantine...

We just had this happen. Vaxxed got time to get tested and then brought back up to three days. Non vaxxed were quarantined two weeks from contact tracing at work.

and trainees can't train, but can work, and high bmi people can go to disneyland, but not work,

This is so that they can fire them later-it demonstrates a 'strain on employer' for your accommodation

“Doing the right thing” is a pretty subjective statement. You can’t blame the people who have chosen not to get vaccinated. Blame the government for making the rules and giving time off. Pretty sure that potentially having your job on the line isn’t an award either.
