1st QTR 2018

I'm kinda confused now. MJ just updated a new priority list that is dated 8/31/17. Yours says October priority list breakaway. Which one is the most current?
The 1 on ksn is for October and is the most current. Next priority list will matter more anyway and is expected around wed 11/1. The Nov list won't be the one they use for the Dec draft BUT, in my opinion, the last priority before the submission deadline will be very useful from here on out.

thanks for the clarification! I really wish you could access KSN from home. I just like to watch them and see how they magically rotate my dream locations around lol

I didn’t actually update anything, I was just attaching a dedicated thread to the resource. The dates on the update tab show when the info is changed.

It was their goal all along to progress to a point where 10-12's would be staffed to 100% projected. It might not be this panel, but I'd imagine that will be the next rule change in the NCEPT evolution.

That would be awesome, hoping for it this next round

I know this question has been posed but the Ncept had changed so much I just have to make sure. If both controllers from the same facility put in for a facility is it still first come first serve? Or does the managers ranking out weigh that?

Manager's ranking would determine who is selected. Assuming one of you wasn't selected for a higher priority facility and are both still eligible and that facility can only select one of you.

We had interesting scenario involving this last pull... 2 controllers selected by same facility... Controller 1 ranked higher, selected and given a Cat1 release date... Controller 2 ranked lower and given a Cat2 release date... Controller 2 had ERR paperwork in before Controller 1... Challenged the selection w NCEPT bylaws and the releases were swapped, now giving Controller 2 the Cat1. What's ironic about all this, is had there only been 1 selection able to be made, Controller 1 is getting selected and Controller 2 passed over... But since 2 could be selected Controller 2 actually leapfrogged and got the Cat1. Just my two cents on top of the already-answered question...

I'm sure that recieving facility ranked that guy 2nd cuz they wanted that 2nd guy to come first...

They both got selected. Who cares who leaves first other than the two employees

That’s good info. Tie breakers: Manager ranking is for the selection, file date is for the release dates.

So then what if only one can be selected does the err with the earliest date receive preference? Or do they both go in for selection and it depends on the managers ranking?

That's with two controllers being able to leave I assume.
He means if you and Bob both work at Facility X and you both bid Facility Y then the Facility Y Manager's Ranking list determines who gets picked if Facility X can only release 1. And if Facility X can release 2 and you both get picked then ERR submission date determines order of release if 1 is CAT1 and 1 is CAT2.
