mankay you need to log on from an faa computer, go to ksn2.faa.gov , it will have all the different placement/nest/ncept info on the left column.

Another good tool is aap.faa.gov which you can pull up the TCIP to see a facilities traffic and types. You can get a better picture of where you might want to go.

Awesome thank you. What log in do you use or would it do everything with the PIV?

mankay it will work off a PIV at least that's when I usually check it during CIC time. There are other ways to log on if the direct way doesnt work, which is the case in some facilities for whatever reason.

Yeah, I've never had to log in to KSN at work it just goes straight to where I need it. Comps must just be set up differently

The only place Ive ever been able to pull it up are on the CIC computer and the one downstairs where we sign into ARTs. We just have the link saved as a favorite.

Forgive my ignorance/if this has been asked before, but how can a facility be #8 priority in the nation and not able to pick anyone up?

It gets asked 7 times per NCEPT thread. The formula that creates the order is in the SOP.

Anyone have opinions as to why LAS is so hard to staff when L30 isn’t? Is it a bad working environment or what?
It's an actual formula in the SOP for NCEPT, the hard to staff formula determines roughly 34% of the priority score for a facility. Its earlier on in this thread, but mostly big towers and big tracons receive the score.

And the Hard to Staff lense is:
The hard to staff equation is (Pot*ERRreq)/Gap

Pot is the potential for hard to staff which is essential any tracon or tower great or equal to a level 8 which gives it a 1 point. Centers dont rate.

ERRreq is the number of actual ERRs into a place, this is the only none ready information. Though I do assume the controller underground could find it.

Gap is the gap to the target number plus the non developmental losses.

It's on a sliding scale which determines a facilities priority, for HTS it makes up 34% of that value.

It's all in the NCEPT SOP.

On leave for a week, is ZLC showing any possible gains with the April update?

Is there any way to find out how many people you’re up against for a specific facility?
