YaIs this referring to Mick?
To clarify, Mick didn’t create NCEPT it was already in place. He ran it with Rich from 2019-2021 and then with Brian from 2021-2024.
Who cares if he did or didn’t create it. What is the point of running a system if you don’t evaluate how it doesn’t work for the current NAS. No adjustments are ever made. Well I guess they made an adjustment to pick one at a time and add a grand total of 3 facilities to an MOU.To clarify, Mick didn’t create NCEPT it was already in place. I’m just clarifying. You said he’s “responsible” for NCEPTWho cares if he did or didn’t create it. What is the point of running a system if you don’t evaluate how it doesn’t work for the current NAS. Wasn’t Lebovidge responsible initially? The argument they’re making is dumb, because we voted him inTo clarify, Mick didn’t create NCEPT it was already in place. He ran it with Rich from 2019-2021 and then with Brian from 2021-2024.
Who’s been “responsible” to run it the last few years?I’m just clarifying. You said he’s “responsible” for NCEPT
Mick and Brian. But you didn’t say that. I already clarified which years are which.Who’s been “responsible” to run it the last few years?
Goodness. Sorry I didn’t clarify he didn’t create it but has also been responsible to collaborate as the NATCA appointee for the last….. 5 years now?Mick and Brian. But you didn’t say that. I already clarified which years are which.
Crazy right.. I know of a couple buddies that want to downgrade facilities just to get home but can’t because they are stuck.I just wish I could at least get someone to train at my current facility then go back home to my level 6 up/down and checkout in a few months. Wouldn’t care if I got stuck there forever as long as I could not be across the country.
Unless you are ranked in the top 3 and your facility can’t release you because there are already two outbound on the same MOUAn informative message I received that may be of interest.
The next NCEPT panel is scheduled for November 20, 2024. The most significant change to this panel is that facilities that have double-digit gains to the Projected National Average (PNA) will select two BUEs in the first iteration of Round One. These facilities include ZNY, NCT, SCT, ZSU, AUS, D10, A90, JAX, MZY, ORD, and ZME. ZOA, MIA, and A80 are covered under an MOU and selected at the NCEPT panel's end. These facilities select as many BUEs as their training department can handle, which will vary per panel. In this panel, each facility will select up to A80-8 BUEs, MIA-5 BUEs, and ZOA-14 BUEs. Also, keep in mind that MOU facilities, particularly A80 and MIA, have over 50 ERRs on file, so rankings by the facilities makes all the difference.
yeah
MOU's pick up from everyone with paperwork in regardless of releasability
If what the inquirer is saying is true, then you only need to be ranked top 8 at A80 and top 5 at MIA and you will be selected. Doesn't matter if there's already 2 outbounds from your facility on the same MOU, you can still be selected. The only thing is that your facility has the right to space out the releases to every 6 months per the MOU instead of the priority 3 month release.Unless you are ranked in the top 3 and your facility can’t release you because there are already two outbound on the same MOU
I was selected 3 of 5 last panel by MIA and was told I didn’t get to go because there were already two outbound on the same MOU one to ZOA and one to MIA within 6 months. That I had to wait until one officially left and hope to get selected on next oneIf what the inquirer is saying is true, then you only need to be ranked top 8 at A80 and top 5 at MIA and you will be selected.
