Part of the reason for NCEPT is because of complaints like this. You used to be able to hold more than one TOL, so you could fuck over multiple facilities.

You guys keep complaining and curling the fingers on these monkey paws lol
I didn't get in until ncept was already a thing, but why didn't they just change it so you could only hold 1 tol at a time to prevent that from happening and then maybe evaluate if it needed to be changed further? Seems crazy they created an entire new system instead of tweaking what they had, especially considering the rules are different damn near every panel anyways.

Now you can just take a USAjobs bid and fill a slot and still play the NCEPT lottery and fuck over multiple facilities.

youre thinking way too logically. We should 100% be getting hired directly through the facility you want to be at. All they had to do was change the rules to make it more fair. But rich wanted ncept. Most likely to slow movement.

If a CPC desires to go work at CID, they should have a shot to go before some stupid new hire. That new hire who would have gone to CID will now end up at SAV or somewhere else similar. It’s a not a big deal and the new rules make it a possibility for people to transfer to facilities that don’t usually get to pick up anyone. Someone who wants to be at CID is better than someone who throws in for NCT with no intent to certify, but just to get out. they will spend some time there, waste some training time, maybe get a scope or 2 and then wash or withdraw for a sweet nest list. There’s a good chance someone who chose CID won’t ever leave. It’s that also part of the issue, continuity of staffing since tons of people want to be somewhere else? If you put people where they want to be, they won’t be desperate to do anything just to get out.
Do we work at the same facility? Lol

The ranking lists aren’t even open until aug 7th. That’s listed on the natca website under ncept. They get reworked every ncept panel.
I was asking about the ranking list for for the May NCEPT. Usually they get it pretty quick....

The old system was no system. It was just kissing both atm’s asses in hopes they moved you. Under the current staffing guide no atm would be allowed to move anyone.

What exactly do you think this system is. Same shit. You go kiss the managers ass and the union presidents ass and hope you kissed it good enough they rank you higher than other applicants.
