You'd be surprised how many developmentals put in ERRs. I've only ever seen one developmental be picked up by someone (center to center). Most developmentals are simply discarded regardless of how many the facility is selecting.

Also there's no 3rd round.

Which stinks in a way, because ERRing out of a facility with a ~50% checkout rate under the old ERR system is what likely saved my career.

Quick question, a facility like ATL is ranked number 5 on the facility priority list, yet it says they have zero possible gains. What’s up with that?

They aren't picking up any. It's based on the Decision Lense Criteria. You can find the equation on the last few pages of this document.

NCEPT - National Centralized ERR Placement Process

You'll see there are numerous factors that go into the ranking, some are weighted higher then others, which is how you can have facilities ranked so high that can pick up 0 people.

So with the panel meeting this Thursday here when do you all think it’ll be published online/we’ll find out? How many days after the Dec . panel did everyone find out?

So I realize that level 10-12 facilities can staff to Natl Average and 9 and below can staff to target. So why is there a difference in the amount of slots on the Terminal Placement List versus the Priority Placement Tool? If Im trying to determine how many controllers a level 10 terminal facility can pick up for the Feb panel, should I look at how many controllers they are underneath the Natl Average (on the PPT) or should I count how many slots are on the Terminal Placement List (that arent filled by Hardship or direct hire) ? Thanks for any help

Terminal Placement List slots are irrelevant. There are 1,000's of slots and would take facilities well over 100%. They are simply staffing projections that project years in advance.

For Level 10-12 facilities, you can view column Y or look at the facility priority list to see how many each facility can select.
For Level 9 and below facilities, you can view column Y or look at the facility priority list to see how many each facility can select on the first pass. On the second pass, simply take the value in column Z and subtract it from column Y.

Ex.
Level 8 ABQ
Column Y = 2
Column Z = 5

They can select 2 on the first pass and 3 (5-2) on the second pass.

Are you trying to get from ZMP to D21? If so can I ask why? Seems like giving almost anyone would try to do the opposite

Yessir. Detroit is home for me, grew up in Dearborn Heights and my whole family’s still located there. ZMP and Minneapolis is a great facility/area. I really enjoy it actually, it’s a fun place, but it’s not home like the Detroit metro area. You trying to get to D21 or ZMP at all?

No, I was just curious as to why someone would make that swap, but that makes sense
